VE Commodore sv6 climate and electrical issue

Hi all,
I got this car 2nd hand. It has had this intermittent issue since the previous owner had it (they apparently had it checked but couldn't replicate or find the fault)
On start up, if the aicon is on, it will sometimes only blow air at my feet no matter what setting is displayed on the screen. Switching the ignition off and back on rectifies the issue until next time.
The other thing that happened more recently is after start up the display showed only the bluetooth symbol, nothing else, and a handful of buttons weren't functioning: all of the aircon buttons and all buttons and rollers on the steering wheel except the trip button. Turning the ignition off and on quickly didn't rectify this.
After parking and restarting a few hrs later the problem was gone. This one has only happened once so far.
Has anyone else experienced these faults?
