VE Commodore - Tweeters & Woofers

Hi,

I'm putting some Focal speakers in the VE I just brought. I want to mount them in the A Pillar and angle them a bit towards me. How hard would that be to do and is there anyway to cover up the original tweeter grilles near the demister. Also, is it hard to change out the original woofers in the doors for 6.5" woofers? I don't really want to replace them with 5" woofers to match the original size.

The 6.5" replacements are easy. Get some mdf rings which mount to the original speaker cutouts in the door, and the new speaker mounts to the mdf rings. This gives you extra depth for meatier speakers too as the ring is about an inch thick.
Make sure you use sound deadener too to get the best out of your focals.
