Just thought id share my latest gauge setup in my VE SS. I have the 2 gauge pod on top of the dash but I wanted to put in some more gauges but didnt want to go the pillar setup so i tried a few different mock ups that didnt work for me .I eventually removed the stereo facia and saw the 2 screws at the bottom of the stereo so after thinking about it for a couple of weeks I bought 2 swivel bottom gauge pods and attached them to an angle bracket I made up.Then I turned them upside down and attached it to the stereo via the 2 bottom screws.Wired the gauges up via the cigarette plug behind the console, and an adapter plate for the oil pump to fit the sender units. Then replaced the stereo facia.Im pretty happy with the end result.

Looks good, nice work. Good old school non computer gauges can't affect the bus. Cheers

i remember that, mine still going strong
It was easier just to buy the adapter than take off the other and drill another hole and get it tapped to suit the oil temp sender, but yes mine was still working perfect. It was a great idea and thanks for sharing.
