yeah true.. i currently have 445kws at the head and near the end of the year im getting my 10psi eaton charger put on and will easyly take me to about 550kw there abouts. do you know what torque limit the T56 has..? im not sure how much torque i have at the moment tho. i think the limit for the Tr6060 is over 600nm.

T56 manual for your car. T6060 was only fitted to the W427 at first, and was put into the rest of the range around September/October 2008 (partly because thats what all FG Falcons came out with, so I doubt HSV wanted base falcons having a better manual transmission than a GTS).

I wonder if mine has one then ? OCT 08 Build.... is there an easy way to find out ?

I would imagine the VE would have to use the 450ft/lb version, which is about 610Nm.

well thats why the hsv's only got to 307fwkw, cause thats the max input power, dunnno about torque though

in saying that though, there is heaps of t-56's gettin round with big power going through them, and i havnt really heard of them failing

LS3's Are 317 fwkw 550nm torque... so is there an easy way to find out Andy ?

i was under the impression all ls3 cars had the tr6060? actually maybe not??? i really dunno now... i remember reading the press release back when the tr6060 were put into use but can't remember where i sat the paper... i'll see if i can find it again

Nah if ya remember when the LS3 was introduced and was only 317kw (only 317 lol) instead of the 330ish it should have been as seen in other applications, they cited drivetrain limitations as to why the power was held back (and hence why the W427 was the first to receive the T6060 in the HSV range). Although, the auto is probably just as much to blame.
