My omega has recently decided it doesn’t wanna let its air con work. Can’t even turn it on or off with the button. Anyone had similar issues? Does it automatically do this if there is a gas leak?

It will either the Fuse/ Relay
or
Low gas will isolate the operation of the HVAC system,
As they have a High, and Low Pressure switches/sensor, so not to damage the hardware.
Best to take it to a Fidgy to check the pressures checked.

They are A range of causes.
1. Most likely would be low gas. Refill with dye l to find the leak.

2. Compressor clutch is stuffed.

There can be other reasons, but they would be the first checks.

Low gas can be identified by hissing sounds coming through the dash as a clue before the **** hit the fan.
