Hey Guys,

Couple months ago i picked up an 09 SS ute, first Holden i have owned and i am far from disappointed. It's an auto, which at times is boring, but i don't regret the decision. As it's my everyday drive, i wont be doing too much too it apart from the usual upgrades, wheels/springs/exhaust/stereo. But down the track i will probably look to change the cam.

look forward to checking out some of the other rides on here.

cheers,

Paul

day i picked it up

quig roller

got some thunder wheels of a friend and fitted them tonight

may as well put it out there, all my cars until now have been fords :p and i still have one, but its my long term project and will probably never see the road again

Thanks lads, agreed that the thunders look better. Falcon has a gt40 turbo but that's about it for now... First turbo project, should be fun once complete

It was on there when I bought it, company name is "quig" they have a decent website.

Wheels wise I'll probably go with some 20" stance sc 5ives. But I'll rock the thunders until I have exhaust etc

Chucked a sub in today. Bought a 2 line Rockford fosgate LOC and chucked in a really old clarion sub which I will upgrade soon. Running it off a 4 channel alpine amp so I'll wire the speakers up sooner or later as well :p

Ordered a 3" exhaust the other day so waiting on that to arrive. It's just a mild steel xforce system so as to not break the bank but it's all I need. Will look into extractors further down the track

Thanks mate.

Fitted the exhaust today. Wasn't disappointed with the note, but I was expecting it to be a little louder.

Also finished off my sub install. Made a tidy box at work so now have a 10" eclipse sub behind drivers seat.
