VE S2 SV6 - Radio stays on.... Please help.

Hi.

As per the title, for the last couple of weeks, when I got to get out of the car, the radio stays on. I know it's supposed to stay on after the car is turned off and even after the car is removed from the ignition but when you ope the door it should switch off. Really starting to pi$$ me off ! :bang:

Anyone know of this happening and if there's a fix ( without having to go to the dealership and bend over ).

All audio components are factory fit. Have a MACE tune but can't imagine that would change anything.......

Have done a few searches but found nothing. Please help if you can.

Thanks for the quick response ! So do you know if that mean I need a new door latch ? Or micro-switch ?

Don't know what the technical name is, but the micro switch is contained in a one piece unit.
It was replaced under warranty, don't know price.

Mine's playing up as well. From memory, when I got a price on the assembly a couple of weeks ago it was $260.

Yeah I would kick up a stink as it is really common failure, mine was within 6 months so is not wear. Try it on as faulty recall.

Plus there was a 8mth wait for the switch a while back, mine was replace after waiting two weeks.
