Does anyone know...

if you can buy an internal scanner radio antenna?

window mount etc.

or only the long antenna poles... (which look ugly on a tidy car)

Yes you can buy internal antennas that attatch to either windscreen or back window, but as you would imagine, they end up being quite directional favoring the direction they are facing, which compromises signal quite a bit, so really not worth it.

As mentioned above, the on glass ones are your best 'tidy' option, Time Plus in Sydney Rd Brunswick has a good range of them. They're not cheap, but work well. Just watch all the ########s hit the picks thinking you are a cop car then lol.

I've looked at it a bit closer from that PDF link u posted. i wanna get the antenna in the photo. not the 3db gain whip with the coil on it. So i've emailed and asked if what u see in the photo is exactly what u get and how much.It better work better then the 40cm whip ive got on the scanner atm.
