Can you tell me what the 4 digit map database version please.

MY11 maps start with 71, e.g. 7172

MY12 maps start with 76, e.g. 7606

MY13 maps start with 79, e.g. 7922

MY14 maps start with 82, e.g. 8217

MY15 maps start with 83, e.g. 8319

MY16 maps start with 84, e.g. 8418

Where to find.
Before completing a map update, ensure the vehicle does not already have the MY?? map by selecting “Nav Config” and then “System Information” on the radio.

8418 is what comes up on the display ,I was told these are the latest updates from Holden and theycame out in 2017-2018 ,what I was told but still better 7172 that were in there

8418 was the official 2016 update.

Thanks guys,I’ll have tohave a chat to the bloke as he said it was from last year or year before so 17-18,
Either way it’s an improvement from what I can tell so far,best thing was the price ,nowhere near what Holden want if you can get it,

I purchased a copy of the MY16 maps on eBay last year for $60 I think, and still running them,
I checked recently, the person isn't selling them any more,
they are much better than the 2015 version.

I have enquired with a contact at Holden spares, he says the 2016 update is still current, but there might be an update out soon.

The 2016 update is still much better than what's available for the VF...

Sounds good,apparently Holden and other suppliers either have or are running out of the updates, with the way Holden is now I’m not to sure if they will do updates for much longer as they work on a 10yr max from what I was told in relation to updates etc
Still a few years to go but there has to be an easier way to update the maps ourselves with some modding of course,just easier to buy from someone who has done it already lol
