Ve series 2 sv6 auto issue.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem (in case its common). After mild to heavy acceleration, say from 60-100, when backing off at desired speed, the auto will not upshift for around 5-7sec. Does the same when cruise control makes it 'kick down' for a hill - delayed upshift at the top of the hill.
Had the auto serviced and told them the problem, said they found nothing wrong.
Any ideas?

do you have it in sport mode? Sport mode will hold the shifts longer than normal mode does.

Its mainly just normal mode, sometimes manual mode.

Normal mate.

If I give it stick I put it in sports mode and up shift (which is slow too).

Explained to me you put your foot down the car thinks you are going to give more.
