could cause overheating as the waterpump is moving at a slower rpm and undercharging as altenator is spinning at a slower rpm.
In theory yes but there’s alot of people that have fitted them and don’t see any posts up here or anywhere else for that matter complaining of issues since fitting one

ive only seen one VY where the alternator wouldnt charge enough at idle so brought a light on but soon as u got going it was ok, cooling may not be noticeable on the street as the gauge sits in the one spot with a dull zone each side but the faster u can get that would be best without cavitation

Never heard of overheating but yeah for street car can cause undercharging issue....fine on the track where revs are kept up yet pointless for street cars that idle & spend most of their time at low rpm.

Seems like a waste of money for few kw up high


Gilmer belt drives on ol' skool stuff were even worse
