Hi there does the engine cover reduce engine noise or reduce heat in engine bay ? Im thinking of taking it off too.

I have some of the cheap eBay ss twin covers on mine painted voodoo blue to match the car the fit is not 100% they sit up abit around the oil fill cap I think but for the price they look quite good. There is a pic in the show off your ride section the thread is called my voodoo blue ssv sportwagon

My engine cover seems to be doing well sitting in storage.

Seems to be the go these days with all modern cars and bikes, even the Benz's need to hide the engines.

The Italians are on the money with the Ferrari and Ducati engine presentation.

But alas our wallets are only so deep, and thus cost cuttings need to be made.

I would really like to see our engines all fully dressed up with out the need for covers.

You could get creative and modify your current cover.

Some one on the G8 forum did this.

This is what i did not sure if i will cut the cover to accommodate the heater hose and a very good tip for the hot air to escapes from the engine bay take the rubber seal off (near the air vent) does wonders in my opinion its only a small opening after you remove it but better then nothing.
