Hey all,
Sorry in advance I haven't been on here in years and I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or if it has been answered previously.
I've owned my 2006 VE SS for a little over 2 years and intermittently (maybe once every 3 months) the LCD display above the head unit which displays date & time, radio station etc has stopped working.
Usually turning the car off and on again resolves the issue, unfortunately this is not the case this time.
It was working fine this morning yet this afternoon when i hopped into the car to drive home I noticed it was not working.
I didn't think much of it as mentioned above usually an off and on makes the issue go away.
I also had my speakers changed by a professional around 12 months ago (perhaps they knocked the wiring when disconnecting dash speaker)
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?
Is there a fuse that powers just this LCD that may of gone? (checked the fuse box but couldn't see anything)
everything else still functions perfectly, can still see the radio station on the instrument panel behind the steering wheel.
just cant see the display at all.
Not sure if this has anything to do with it but it was raining today.
