Hey guys, new to the forums so hopefully i'm in the right area? haha.

Just recently pruchased a VE SS, i'm looking at doing some exterior work by purchasing a different wing for it.
I'm just wondering what the difference is between the G8 Wing, and Senator wing?
Also, is it worth purchasing the letterbox grille as genuine? Or aftermarket is okay?
There is aroudn a $350 increase from aftermarket to genuine and i'm not sure on the actual differences really.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Cheers guys,
Sam.

V2 CV8 Monaro and VF SSV Redline
aftermarket are normally made from crap materials, genuine is almost always worth it.

often aftermarket will suffer from a poor fit as well.

This is not always the case, just a warning.

My Monaro bonnet is aftermarket and it looks and fits perfectly (done by previous owner) so you never know until you inspect.

Okay, so definitely worth going genuine really?
I had an aftermarket GTO Kit for my VX and the holes didn't match up to my factory holes which really annoyed me.
So despite a drastic increase, I can almost be reassured reliability of the item?
I don't want hassles but I thought I would check.
In terms of the difference between a G8 Wing and Senator Wing for the Ve Sedans?
Any idea? Because I have nothing haha :(
