They are the shittest gearboxes ever fitted to a Commodore.

Do what you can to free yourself of them.

They are also one of the most expensive to fix and require the best gearbox technician in your nearest city. Not for just any old gearbox recon place.

They were also shite when used in BMW’s.

The bloke said it was shifting great when it was in his car and I have a technician that will fit it for me but I just need to know if it would fit the ve sv6 m82 ya know

It’s got FE2 suspension on the compliance plate so if it’s an SV6 then it’s the 5L40E.

Thanks go everyone for your replys about this I am not going to be doing it now he has asked me to send his money back so I'm not gonna be sortin out things without the money in my hand its not a good idea for me to go lining up a gearbox and make a deal I can't finish if he's put the money in the pokies so I'm done but thanks again
