VE V8 L98 auto to manual conversion....

Everyone has forgotten firewall pedal plate, which requires dash heaterboxes all out, ve doesnt have the clutch pedal provisions as ive just found out. Other then that the converdion is straight forward

Flash ecu to manual
Flash bcm to manual
Flash abs to manual
Reconfigure instrument to manual
Bypass auto trans computer
Fit clutch start wiring
Fit reverse switch wiring and reverse lockout wiring
As said some may and may not need to be done

the flash side of things, is that as simple as using a Tech 2? or Special tools needed

Yes. Im not 100% certain about tech 2 my mates usin the snap on one an hp tuners. Im lucky enough i have a mate who had all that ****, im just getting all the manual **** in an dumping it at his shop. That floor plate is a **** to pull out if you do a conversion use the manual one as a template and drill out the auto one. Saves pulling the dash

Hey guys sorry to restart this thread again but just wondering where the hell the does the clutch pedal loom plug into as I reused my interior loom from the auto saving money

Hi everyone
Sorry about bumping an old thread but some good info in here and rather keep it here in one spot.

I see in HP tuners I can flash the ECU to manual, but what tools/software are required to flash BCM & ABS & Dash config

G'day mate how r ya did u use auto harness ,I changed to manual because i had it are u able to shed any light as to what I need to do as far as wiring goes any help much appreciated
