2015 Subaru Forester, XR6 turbo ute.
Bull, the quad cam 5.4 was a gutless wonder that had more problems than the early settlers. It was a big blob of metal.
The super charged Ford V8 wouldnt be any better if it didnt have a huffer on it.
The turbo six is the only performance thing Ford have had for a while.

I don't wanna sound like I'm making excuses for the XR8's. Until the FG, Holden's V8's muched pretty much everything Ford had in V8 form. And even now, the XR8 could only match the SS.

I'd still buy the FG XR8, but not from a performance point of view. I'd own one to store it away for 30 years. They were only sold for 2 years right? So they'll be pretty rare in the future.....

Completely off topic but the FG Boss engines (ignoring the nugget 260's) respond well to mods, been in a few genuine 270/280rwkw cars with minimal mods.

I think this video was a little too preplanned, I love my holdens but the xr6 turbo is a much better engine platform especially for mods

God damn the VF looks super ugly next to the XR6T.
Looks a Falcon racing a V8 Toyota....

I'll never understand people into Fords being on Holden forums and vice versa, and then sitting there bagging the others products...

you'll find the genuine users on here that own fords have previously or still do own commodores. the "bagging" is probably just personal opinion for the most part.

unfortunately there are members that sign up purely to attempt to stir things up by "bagging" commodores.

A real car enthusiast respect any car, even if its not to his taste or liking.

Yeah, some members may tell others what they don't like about the car...but that's called "Constructive Critisicm"
