Hi,
I'm not a car guy. But I think I have a problem with my gear box.
I know my torque converter has a leak I've been told.
When I reverse out my driveway and move forward it makes a grinding noise, sometimes when I accelerate there's a delay and then a thud as the car moves forward. Has happened last few weeks.
Also I've noticed something strange when I put the car in reverse it automatically accelerates and I need to slow it down. This has been happening on and off for a few years.
What do you think the issue is, can you give me an idea on how much it will cost to fix?
