VF Series I wagon, SV6. 140,000km.
2/3 of the time when starting it's fine. About 1/3 of the time it stumbles, splutters and takes twice as long to kick over. Rarely it takes even longer and sounds like it really doesn't want to start.
In the last 2,000km - new spark plugs, air filter, MAF sensor cleaned, new battery of larger CCA than the stock.
Suggestions? Is this the starter motor starting to go?
