I recently had the x-force polished stainless steel 2.5inch catback installed on my vf1 auto. Had the varex remote contolled mufflers and it really sounds great. I love it. When fully open it can sound crap when allowing afm to kick in. But when closed it actually sounds good too, certainly not as quiet as the standard system but sounds nice insiide the car without any drone. I love having the option of opening it up when i feel like playing or leave it closed when the missus has it. Everyone happy. Just another option if that helps you out.

I can't believe you said that
Soo sexist, what about the LBGTIO community
A loving person in today's data and age should be open and willing to have any tailpipe in their rear o_O
I mean that's the plebiscite in a nutsack, right?

My vote is yes and no.

Yes to SSM and no to MS.

Oh, they are different to j pipe. Thought they were the same. My bad.[/QUOTE
Yeah mate. J pipes sounded like Armageddon meets a zombie apocalypse with my system. Crazy loud. Touch the throttle on an upshift and it would bark like the filth hounds of hades.

Marriage savers are for girls. :D
Haha.
You mean the battery operated ones, that always seem to be flat, when you get home, after being away on work? Oh no. They're marriage brakers! Shhh muffle it.

Cuda if you're getting home from work to find the batteries are always flat you should think about getting a set of his and hers.

Yeah the marriage savers drone alright Pete. I had mine modified. But with the Holden mufflers it's just loud but no drony resonance. I guess it's subjective. You might say mine drones?

I concur.
340 headers, LSA 2,5 mid section with hotdogs only and straight through rear mufflers on mine. And its a wagon.
NO drone when AFM kicks in, just sounds different.
I guess drone is subjective though. It certainly does not bother the wife or two young kids.

Yeah, the wife couldn't notice a thing when the AFM came on. It drove me crazy though, couldn't wait to disable it

Yep same, I had the marriage savers first, and when AFM kicked in it was horrendous!
