VFII SS-V Wagon, VS UTE, 96 VS Senator
Iv been looking around at sets of coil overs for a VFII SS-V wagon. Just looking for some advice on which brands/kits are good and which to avoid?
Thanks in advance. :beer chug:

I spent the dollars and had the H&R coilovers fitted to my car. Absolutely love them!
They run a Bilstein shock, and you don't get much better than that.

I do H & R, they run them in the 24 hr Le Mans production class. Not cheap, but very good. About $2800 ish.

Yeah thats a bit much for me, iv sort of been looking around the $1500-$2000 range.
I see kits like this on fleebay K Shock Coilover KIT Fully Adjustable FIT Holden VF Commodore Sedan Wagon UTE | eBay should I just think its rubbish because its so cheap?
And what makes the H&R kit worth $2000 more than this?

To be fair, some of the cost will be for the brand name. But majority will be for the quality. You're buying a German made set up with some of the best shocks in the business, vs something out of China.

Also, H & R put the time and money into testing and development. Someone in China goes "yeah, I'll make ours look like them, they'll bolt in" without actual real world R & D.

Thread dig but no point starting new thread.

Going to get some coilovers for the misstress got a quote from Fulcrum suspension for MCA coilover and just wondering what the spring rates are for VF series1 FE2 suspension?

This is the kit im going with and it is saying the front and rear spring rates and 9kg/mm im just curious how that compares to standard FE2 suspension?https://fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/h...essentials-kit-106374-mca-hn-07-se-96528.html
