So I've had a bit of issues I've been sorting on the car. I fix one then another pops up.

The latest one is a vibration/pulsation when applying the brakes.

I changed both front hubs as the left hub had it. Now when I brake I feel a vibration in the steering. Could it be that the warn out bearing on the left hub damaged or warped the left rake rotor and now that the hubs are good I can feel it.

I didn't have that before. Or could the hubs be the issue. They are Machter branded.

How can I test or check what's causing the issue?

Do I need a wheel alignment after changing the hubs?

The hubs are fixed and while Machter isn't the highest of quality your issue will 99.9% of the time be rotor run out. Bad hubs won't just cause braking issues, there will be a soiree of symptoms

A buckled rim can also show up as warped rotor symptoms under braking, or rather, be accentuated when ignorable in normal driving.

i replaced the vz drivers side bearing around 8 years ago, left side is still original but when i put the wheels back on i do them up in 3 stages using the torque wrench 100 125 130 nm because of the floating disc and i got that info on here years ago just done the brakes on both cars and there fine

Or, just pull the discs off and take to a brake joint for a skim, that will tell if they are warped, and clean up the surface

Good time for new pads and a brake fluid flush as well (while your in there)
