VIM and RSE activation

You just need any dodgy old iPod touch and doesn't matter which version of iOS as long as its before 6.1.4. It's the new iOS in combination with the iphone 5's chip-enabled lightning connector presents your current conundrum.

I have a jail broken iPod touch
Installed the app display out
Using the apple connector via the USB in the centre console I can only stream audio
The app run saying it connected but nothing on the iq
Is the rear aux where I need to connect? What cable do I need?

Yes rear only for a/v. You should have had one installed with the VIM?

iPhone 5 only outputs via hdmi

Need to connect to rear input or DVD input. Can't go through USB

I've read there is a lightning cable to hdmi output for the iPhone 5 which gives mirroring without jail breaking
Is there a hdmi input where the rear aux is or do I have to source a hdmi to video cable or similarL

pretty easy to do... if you are struggling to do figure out how now then prob best you don't do yourself and get someone else to do it
