Vk brake upgrade & wheels to suit

I am building my VK calias with a L67 S/charge motor etc.
Bought new K frame , King Springs KYB Shocks etc etc.
Have decided I will upgrade to VT front discs, but am at sea on what wheels will fit the new Hub Adapters.
The wheels I like are:

Specs are 17 x 7.5 - PCD 5/120 - OFFSET +38

My dilemma is- Will these wheels fit on the VT upgrade hubs?

Any advice appreciated

A 15'' stockie fits. Theoretically a 17" should have plenty of clearance. The offset shouldnt be a problem.

The hubs being bandied around on eB*y aren't cheap , around $200 +.

Can you just use hubs from a VT onto the VK-VP spindles?
Would be far cheaper if possible.
Any thoughts.

The VT hubs are sealed bolt on unit, no spindle or adjustments. if you can find a set of commodore pattern trailer hubs with the right size center to locate the disc you might be able to get them to to work that way i dont know.

From memory the VT hubs are stepped with the disc center being slightly larger then the wheel, im not sure been a while since ive looked at one.

It appears they do not have the sealed bearing type that are on my VS GTS (probably same as VT), guess I will shell out the $195 and get the show on the road.
Just hard to figure without it all laying on the bench to ponder over.

All the adapaters are is a new hub that goes in place of the std disc/bearing assembly, its nothing special really. Looks just like any old trailer wheel hub.

The VS ones are the same design as a VT with a few small differences.
