USE F#$%ing SEARCH!!!!!! This has been covered billions of times

Yes it will fit you will need to change your speedo drive in the gearbox to keep your speedo accurate, use the table on my site to work out the correct gear.

Nope cept most of the six cyl are single peggers where as most VL V8 diffs were LSD, just be aware there is a high chance there will be an issue with tail shaft distances so you might need to get modifications made, not sure of the distance issues between a 308 and a borg warner diff compared to a 308 with a Salisbury.

Go for a turbo diff because they are a four pinion centre while the normally aspirated diffs are only two pinion. Both are 3.45:1

VL V8 diff is a 4 pinion LSD as well but 3.08 ratio.

If he drives alot of freeway driving and if he is using a 4 speed or auto a 3.08 will be better as it would rev too high if he has a 5 speed the 3.45 would be fine.
Thats why I asked why he wants to change
