Thanks. We've sorted the issue with what seemed to be the incorrect ones supplied. Turned out to be an electrical problem.They're slightly different specs and turbo ones are only 250cc and low impedance from memory.

The motor had been transplanted into another car and auto electrician had done some strange things with the wiring that stopped low impedance injectors from opening but there was enough current to run 14 ohm injectors. Replacing a blown fuse with the correct value allowed the stock injectors to work.What was the electrcal problem?
