decided to go with champion RS 7YC which looks to be colder plug similar to NGK BPR7EF
had trouble jamming in the rear cam tunnel plug (frost plug)
Made a hash of it, oh well ordered another
must be a trick to positioning these

Back home from 2 weeks tiki tour through Mexico, USA, and Canada
Couldn't find any swap meets going in Pittsburgh or Cleveland, most probably a little cold had snow in weekend
While travelling from Pittsburgh to Cleveland, we had to pass by Summit racing shop, and of course couldn't help myself but go in to have sticky beak
You don't want to spend too much time in this place, or you would be donating your wallet

While travelling around picked up new reverse manual valve body TCI 376010 for 700R4, from a contact, just in case needed it if hydraulic valve body doesn't do it for me

What no engine swap in the car park?

I'm off to Korea, China, and Japan for next 2 weeks, so there will be no joy there finding in swap meets ...only work

Home yesterday, a little work on engine today

• Managed to get the rear cam plug in with sealant.
• installed the SCAT flex plate and torqued up 90Nm
• New Champion plugs installed went with RS7YX4- set gap 1mm
• Mallory twin point rotor MAL-309 turned up

Things to do

• Need to check and gap Mallory twin point distributor
• finish rebuilding 750 D/P carb
• SBC 7mm leads I have will work for the start up
• check and prime oil pump

Decided to bite the bullet on the gauges and purchase autometer Sports comp II range in 2 1/16" (52mm Dia):
Trans temp: 3657 } ORDERED
Engine temp: 3348M }
Engine pressure: will go electric 3327 (0-100psi): ORDERED

VS calais 200K on clock, one owner, have been offered a red calais in original mint cond, needs a battery, car was driven 12 months ago, no panel damage, original owner, what do you think would be fair value
it needs to be towed at present.
