For looks cant beat Pro Ratchet in dropbox with lockout cut off rewelded to be in line with shifter so it all fits in factory console.

If worried about rego..
Add build ninja kit

Then either dakota digital setup goes to selector on trans but seen neater setup dude named Andrew Borg sells kit to make it work off shifter inside console.

Rocket sell those Bandit brand with shift indicator on driver's side but those wont fit factory console without chopping.

4L60 trans build
Picked up trans the other day, all good, clutches/friction No3/No4 in drum set at 0.047", which is approx. 50% of OEM suggested clearance.
Not sure about the black paint, was thinking carney yellow !!!!, something that could pickup on oil leaks real quick.
will need a lot of ATF to fill pan as 2 quarts larger, -8 lines, and twin trans coolers
Need temperature gauge, and then its finished
However for now placed a sheet over it, sealed up all orifices, and it can wait patiently for the engine
I don't really want to look at the final cost of the build!!!

Not using the normal drive shaft?

edit: Dohh, probably just a place holder to keep it sealed? Sorry, I should switch my brain on....

yes just borrowed to plug the hole, just in case

seals them orifices up

engine stand came, not bad for $100, had to flip the front brace the depth of oil pan just fitted
carb kit arrived

GTRboyy, yes was in a hurry, he made contact however was outside in between car and digging out the retaining wall and helping the boys get the retaining wall down as truck/excavator coming tomorrow to take out 40M3 as decided to put another 80m2 garage in
Need to do this stuff properly, no messing around now
no point having carpark if you can have a covered in space
had the boys over with their diggers, nothing like making a mess and having construction site in your backyard

gtrboyy,
spoke to your mate Andrew
He reckons we don't need the aftermarket shifter as still running the OEM hydraulic valve body so the auto is going to shift as factory of course it has all the bell& whistles with valve body upgrades, however it will still shift as OEM auto so no need for racket shifter as no manual valve body

So can get away with factory shifter
