Ive got a vn v6 series 1 and recently turbocharged it im looking at ways to clean up the engine bay,

I would like to get rid of the hose clutter so am thinking about removing the heater hoses as i never use the heater anyway,

But my question about it is whats the best way of going about it as its a series 1 and the heater and overflow/filler hoses are all joined what needs blocking off or joining etc

Don't forget you need a demister for a roadworthy.

Yep,heater has to be working if the car is registered in Aust.,unless of course you know a friendly Rego. inspector.

Ok,over here they normally stick their head under the bonnet, heater hoses not connected will stick out.

it is crazy.. but we are catching up slowly... but with that being said.. you will see where your heater hose goes in, and back out of the firewall.. take them off and join (not bend and kink) horse shoe one hose..
