Looking good Luke, this thing is off the chain.

what engine mounts U using again? 10mm is tiny, with a few food revs i think she'll be rubbing bonnet.

Just using stock rubber VL mounts. 10mm is allegedly the minimum for engineering. The engine torques in such a way that the charger will be pulling away from the bonnet when getting up it. Trouble might be with the pulley nicking the hood when backing off harshly, or bouncing off limiter etc.. depending on how much movement the mounts allow... rest assured I'm going to look at it again with a bit more motivation next time I'm working on the car and see if I can find some more clearance :)

orrriiite.... so the blower now fits with 10+mm room. Thanks to Ari for hooking me up with some cheap machining. The flange for the manifold has been machined on more of an angle so that the blower comes down. I'm also using a 3.2" pulley instead of the original 3.7" pulley I was going to.

On the up side, the new pulley is 8 rib, meaning I'll be now able to run an 8 rib setup all round!

In other news, I've now got a remote mount oil filter, the plumbing for which is all done. I've also mounted all the LPG gear, run all the water/heater/lpg/balance/etc lines and managed to fit them all neatly under the supercharger.. so you can't see any of it from out of the bay!

Have done heaaaaps of little stuff (which takes some time to get right, unfortunately)...

getting real close now :) - gonna have to remember to put oil in everything before I start it lol.

Alright update time...

- Engine loom just about done! (just gotta hook up those firewall connectors)..
- All plumbing and tread tapping for various sensors/wastegates/boost control solenoids/etc etc all done
- sorted out plug leads for the custom coil packs...
- got all my gaskets etc that I need for final assembly
- heaps of other little stuff that took lots of time but isn't worth mentioning.... (hoses, fittings, etc)

So now the engine is dis-assembled again (for the LAST time) - with a pile of bits that are going to the polishers hopefully this week. Also sorting out any last remaining items (few plugs, engine belt, pulley offset maching, etc) this week.... leaving next week for removing any left over bolts from intake bits ;) and dusting/cleaning everything up for final assembly... and final assembly.

Unless I'm forgetting something - if all goes well, no reason the engine shouldn't be in next weekend or so - ready to start! (pending oils, fuel, etc)

After that just windscreens and a battery....
