Hi everyone, Im only new here and Im hoping some of you experts can help....

I have a VN ss engine Im putting into a torana. I got the auto elecy over the other day to talk him through what I was doing and he took one look at the plug that goes into the computer and he just shook his head an siad it was no good. It has "the green death" apparently.... corroded!! :(

Anyway Ive asked Holden and they dont do replacement plugs, Im hoping I dont need to buy a whole nother loom just for the plug!!

My next thought is, will a 6 cly plug fit a v8 computer??

Any help or suggestions would VERY VERY VERY much be appreciated!

Cheers
Shellie

v6 plug will plug in, but there will be a few pins in wrong spots, and/or some pins missing.

id personally try and find another loom, cutting and soldering that many pins could result in problems later on, especially if not done correctly

if that plug has suffered from corrosion, i wonder how many other plugs on the loom have the same fate.
