Had a similar issue with our VS, the Cruise light would come on but wouldn’t activate, traced it back to a faulty module.

The cruise pedal switch, is it located near the brake switch? Also is it called a cruise switch? Gonna try and buy a brand new one if they can be bought.

Don't know what they call them, but they do need to be adjusted correctly - try backing it off a bit and seeing whether that fixes it. When I converted mine to manual the cruise didn't work - was just a matter of adjusting the switch properly.

Is it located underneath the brake pivot, EYY?

Bought a switch today 25 bucks. Just need to see what i need to fit it as i only have a handful of tools with me. It definitely screws in just not sure how it comes out out, or whether it anchors in to brake switch or what. It has to male lugs, be funny if my problem is a simple wire off....

Update, i just fitted a new cancellation switch and it now works. The threads strip causing it to slip. If anyone needs to replace one, the switch is located behind the grey drop down panel under the steering wheel. To adjust it would seem that all you do is screw it in as far as it will go with the brake pedal in the relaxed position. This is what the switch looks like. No tools are needed. I guess the question now begs, does a VR executive with cruise need load resistors if you fit, LED brake light globes?? I would think possibly not??
