Nice, and as we know from your vs it'll be enjoyed and kept in great condition.

Finally extracted the digit and dealt with something that has been bugging me (and getting worse) since I got this.

On special from Holmart last month and delivered Melbourne to Perth in less than 48 hours.

Nice knob.
You should try refurbishing the old one, not much to lose really except time.

Yes, I plan to have a crack at it.

Expect I'll be able to get the silver section looking OK.

The leather is looking a bit worn though. I'll try some conditioner on it and see how it goes.

Car: VE Series II SSV Z Series
Year: 9/2012
Colour: Chlorophyll
Motor: L77 6 Litre
Exhaust: Stock
Gearbox: M6
Diff : LSD
Power : 270 kw (when new)
Suspension : FE3
Interior : Leather
Rims : 20" Pentagons
Brakes : Brembo front
Bodykit : SSV
Kilometres: 59xxx
Owned Since: 22/7/17

After nearly 19 years of punting my VS around as a daily, I have bitten the bullet and upgraded.

Picked up at lunchtime yesterday. Fantastic car to drive. Smooth, quiet and rides very nice given the rim size.

Totally stock aside from the rims.

Owner's handbook indicates the car was first registered to Holden in Port Melbourne with the lock nut key still having the Vic rego recorded on it.

One other owner since then.

Interior is practically unmarked aside from the silver coating on the gear knob flaking away a little.

Drives beautifully.

Despite the exhaust being stock as far as I can gather, it still has a nice subtle growl to it.....especially when giving it the beans.

A couple of quick pics from yesterday arvo.

More pics to come if the weather holds off.

Z Series was introduced late in the VE model run prior to the introduction of VF.

The SSV Z Series replaced the SSV Redline with some extras such as electric sunroof and special Z Series mats and badging.

Looking forward to getting to know the car.

Hang on to it I say, Collectors item in the future !

Well I had the VS for 19 years so I don;t turn them over quickly lol.

Will be interesting to see how this is going in 18 year's time.
