Vs Calais limiter bashing it’s self

Just put an Ecotec in my vs Calais out of a s2 vx with 160000 ks turned it on and just started limiter bashing it’s self first thought was maf sensor so I unplugged it and it stopped it but obviously ran like a bag of crap so changed the maf and limiter bashed it’s self again? Any help would be appreciated cheers

It's getting air past the throttlebody.

Vx ecotec have EGR so there will be an open port in the manifold. Unless it's blocked.

Did you use you vs manifold or vx manifold. Also did you used thr standard headers from the vx?

I used the vx manifold and don’t remember seeing any ports ? Where would that be ?
