My uncle is the national rep for Bridgestone think he knows what he's talking about as far as iv been told by him it's a safety thing which in the case of a driver falling asleep at the wheel they don't go into oncoming traffic, they just end up in a tree with the monkeys! Lol u can do it yourself with string lines me and my mate do it its more accurate and its how F1 do it!

WOW... been playing around with cars for over 40 years and 1st time I've heard this !
I think your uncle just wants to sell more tyres IMHO

Fuel consumption still very poor. Next thing to change is the O2 sensors i think. My dad and brother have a VS V6 and they dont seem to have an issue like myself..

ok im putting it out there, have you check your error codes, its a paperclip to check, it may help pinpoint other issues.

o2's are the biggest factor in bad fuel consumption, in your case, these need replacing asap!

I will get my cousin to plug in the computer to see if it gives any error codes and I'll buy 2x O2 sensors. I'll let you know how I go. Thanks.

Paper clip and bridge pins 5 and 6 on the diagnostic connector.

You're making things more difficult for yourself than they need to be..

But a lot of the time fault codes won't be thrown of the O2 sensors are out of spec.

a paper clip is used to check for errors - have you done this yet??

having not changed O2 sensors is always gonna set ya back :)

for me in my struggle it wasnt until i changed my injectors that i noticed my fuel use return to normal, after suffering outrageous fuel use

and i simply got 2nd hand VT injectors that had done 90,000km for $70

see here for my studies when i was trying to find a solution...
my study - fuel economy

I am not very electrical minded! I wasnt aware about the paper clip. Injectors were going to be my next thing aswell.. The $$$ just adds up.. Thanks for the link I will have a read of it. Cheers.
