Hi Guys,
Finally ready to do the intake manifold gasket on the old VS, I've got the nice new aluminium AC DELCO gaskets from MACE Engineering, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing. A few questions before I tackle this next weekend hopefully...
1. For those of you that have done this before, how long does it take (I'm quite competent with the spanners), and is there any curing time required?
2. What sealant / goo should I get to stick the two end plastic pieces in (at each side of the valley), and do the manifold bolts themselves need to be sealed or loctited in?
I've got the old faithful Gregory's manual on hand, but there is anything else that I need to know, or anything else that will likely require replacing at the same time?
Cheers
