try getting in the car and then lock it with the remote so that the security light is flashing.

Then turn the key to position 2 and see if the light is off. If the light is on then Its key and slip ring related. was the new key done with a tech2 or a mister-minute job?
ok hoped in the car an locked it, red light flashes, when i turn the key light stops flashing, so it’s not the key or slip ring

yes it starts if i bridge the starter really. I was thinking of just buying a kqs-q6c pushbutton start kit,

Why waste money on this to start with.....

@gtrboyy has suggested where the issue is.....But just to help...First replace the starter relay.....Logic tells you, you have power going into the relay area from the ignition switch and power going out to the starter from the relay area, but when the relay is in place, you have zippo.....So spend $20 or find another relay in the electrical system of the car, that isn't required to run the car and replace it...From there, use the key and see if the starter motor engages from the key.....You might be surprised it actually starts and you'll save yourself a few bucks in the process

you should not have power at 85 with ignition in on position, if you did starter would always be cranking when ignition on reds or engine running (suspect test error)
apart from that all of your circuit seems fine
so poor connection at relay or faulty relay

surely you havnt wasted all this effort without swapping the relay first?
