Vt commodore
Hello,
Looking for some assistance please. I have a vt v6 that won’t start.
It has spark from all coil packs, it has fuel to fuel rail and return line, the red light immobiliser goes out on crank, only has codes 67, 81, 82 (trans faults), has power at injectors( don’t have pulse tool), runs if fuel sprayed in inlet. I understand it has a no injection fault just not sure on the next step to diagnose. Ecm/bcm? Trans faults shouldn’t prevent start?? There are no cas codes. Help please.

sounds like fuel pump has failed or fuel filter blocked

runs if fuel sprayed in inlet.
You've answered your own question. Clearly there's a problem with fuel getting to where it needs to. When you hear hoofbeats, think of horses, not zebras - skip the BCM for now and start simple.

In rough order of simplicity/likelihood:
  • Switch the fuel pump relay with a known good one.
  • Find a known good fuel pump and try it out.
  • Clean your fuel filter.
  • Check the fuel pump control module.
  • Check your fuel line isn't damaged.
  • Check the fuel pressure regulator.
  • Then go looking for zebras.

Did you crack the fuel rail and crank it over when you tested for fuel?

Did it spray, or dribble out?
