You can install as much speakers as you want, but dont expect much bass without a amp.

they shouldnt have in a VT but 4 some stupid reason ppl do but if its not u just gotta take the pocket out and pull down on the back of the unit try not 2 move the front if u can as it usually shows the metal frame in between the gaps if u do if it wont budge u may need 2 use ur HU removal tools 2 free it up a bit

is that the adaptor people are talking about? so i dont have to mess with the wires?

Are there any cables i'd need to buy too? Or do they come with the speakers/amp ?

THe harness is fine, though do remember that you are going to need to splice it into the OEM harness

We have one that fits you HU to OEM --- they are one of our stock items

Also I would go something else than Fusion!

Try here

As for your SUB - you do realise it is only a SVC!

PS - you should be using a mono.

Thanks, thats the kinda feedback im after, as i dont have to much of a clue :p

Do i _need_ 6in splits in the front? just they cost a bit more.. and the installations double the cost of the 6inch

what sort of sub should i get then? cheap wise.. im not after anything fance, just want it to sound better then stock :)

also.. with the door panels, is there anyway you can make it so you can "see" the speakers? just for the visual side of things :p

PS: got the old stock HU (tape/cd) if anyone wants its up for grabs, just pay the postage or pick it up (QLD/Kallangur)

re to your amp question, in most cases its bolted in the boot to the back of the seat. some ppl bolt it to the sub box i suggest you don't do that

Can anyone help us out there?

unless you know how to fiberglass, then no.
custom pods need to be built to replace the original mapholders.
