I went through a grommet on the drivers side, comes in right near the steering wheel, pretty easy job. :)

You will find 99% of the people on here use that brake culch rubber thing or w.e it is, use a knife to make a hole and a coat hanger with some lube on it and tape the wire to the end of it to get it through.

Then run power cable on one side of the car and RCA on other side and find a good ground and it should be alright. Pretty simple really.

Yeah found the clutch rubber thing (took if off and used a drill to get a decent hole) then put in back on and ran cable..
RCA and remote are both on passenger side.

Had no idea where to mount the amp in the boot :S have it mounted to the sub atm.

Pretty much exactly the same thing I done with my VP
You can mount the amp wherever you like, doesn't have to be in the boot either

As the others have mentioned, when I installed my system, I fed the cabling through clutch rubber too.

make sure you have your amp flat so it disperses heat efficiently.
