I’ve just changed one of the IRS driveshafts in my VT. I had to grind 2 of the bolts off and so damaged the metal bit behind. I have replacement bolts but can’t get the metal peice that goes behind it till tomorrow.
Would it do any damage to just drive it to work once without one metal peice there? I’ve been riding my motorbike for the last couple of weeks and it gets bloody cold early in the morning.
