VT Pre Tensioners/Airbag Light

Hi, I have been hunting around this site.. airbag light came on, scan tool turned up seatbelt pre tensioner faults. Inspected them and had them replaced. Cleared codes with diagnostic tool, no faults are showing, but the light is still on. Any help?? Cheers

Try disconnecting the battery for a while

Sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn't

some scan tools clear the code but dont turn the light off
which tool are you using
with ignition off, unplug steering wheel airbag
turn ignition on, will set code and trigger light, if not already on
turn ignition off and reconnect airbag
then turn ignition on and try clearing this code
hopefully this time turns light off

Check again for error codes. Worst case scenario, your clock spring is stuffed (super common). Replace it and clear code. Should go away.

That is the issue - there are no codes to clear, just the light is still on

It takes about 10 minutes to remove all the parts to get to the instrument cluster and remove the globe.
5 if you use a cordless drill.

More than I expected to ever sell. I initially only had 50 printed, thinking people wouldn't buy them, it was just something dumb my husband said one day because we've bought so many Commodores with the airbag light on, and I got a laugh out of it, but I've now sold more than 100 in 2 years. I give them away sometimes too whenever people ask about them (there's always one on my commodore, my husband's commodore, my son's commodore...). I can't tell you the buzz I got the first time I saw one in the wild! I took a photo of some stranger's ute in a carpark because I was so excited to see one on somebody else's car.
