VT shudders under brakes

Unfortunately you have the same problem as most of us with this model, buy a decent set of aftermarket rotors and pads and that will fix the problem.

I've replaced the padfs and rotors(slotted) less than six months ago.

Jack up the front of your car and see if you have any play in the wheel hubs. Grab the top and bottom of each wheel and push/pull in and out alternately. Could be worn bearings in one or both hubs - you will feel a slight clunking noise if that's the problem.
