VT SS dies under rapid acceleration

Hi all I have a series 1 VT SS and it runs and idles fine except the warm start issue but my concern is when I'm driving and put my foot down it will die splutter then I release the accelerator a little and it comes back and drives fine. Would this be an injector thing or maybe fuel pump. It doesn't matter how much fuel and if it's cold or hot?? Any help would be appreciated thanks

Could be fueling issues, dirty injectors, clogged filter, maybe the coils

Have a look at your spark plugs

Do you have any codes?

Sounds like a spark issue.
You need to see if it has any miss fire codes.
I always start at the spark plugs.

If spark plugs are good and coils are good, then I would look at the injector.

Fuel pump or filter would present at high RPM high load situations not low speed WOT situations.

Series 1 VT SS (Holden Engine) only has one coil.
Had a similar problem with my VS Calais V8 that turned out to be an hairline crack in a spark plug. Could also be ignition leads, but as shane-3800 has suggested, spark plugs are a good place to start, relatively cheap and easy to install, except for that damn ABS unit getting in the way. Is your SS an auto or manual, and what speed/gears are we talking about?
