VT SS, Powertrain warning light.

Anybody got experience with this pesky little thang? It comes and goes like your classic intermittent, only on for maybe ten seconds at most and not evertime I use the car and usually only once per journey.

A real problem or do they sometimes fire off faulty?

The car's done 90,000 and I didn't change the plugs at 80,000 as per the manual. Could that be it?

i have a vt ss and my airbag warning light comes on, i got told by the guy that did my exhaust that sometimes when you disconnect your battery it can mess things up and sometimes the computer just needs resetting.
he said something about doing a test like a diagnostic test.
i would say yours would be a similar problem

Just had the same problem at 80,000kms. Had diagnostics run on engine was an oxygen sensor which was making engine run lean. If your in melb take it to bayswater automatics the owner will only charge $20 for a scan which will tell you whats wrong. ultra tune wanted $120. Hope this helps.
