Vt wagon locked and wrong key

Just brought a vt wagon, drove it home and pressed the immobiliser button. now its lock and wont unlock. just my luck the key doesn't fit the doors.

Can the door lock be drilled out to open it up?
Would rather stuff the barrel as I will replace them all.

Do you mean it won't fit or it won't turn? It takes a bit of force to turn the key if it is deadlocked.

door barrels are different to ignition. nearest locksmith 100+km away. mate why pay someone i got time. Expecting to have to drill out barrel.

immobiliser locked it but wont unlock. battery has decent voltage but unlock switch looks not so good.

So how did the prior own unlock it?
Did he/she ever unlock it?

he didn't lock it and yes tail gate locked to.
I got into it in about 30seconds once I had the drill and 6 mm bit handy.

To open a vt door lock just drill it with a 6mm bit and it pops like you used a key.
