VU Maloo Hard lid.

Hi all. Some time ago I posted a few comments about a hard lid for my VU Maloo, without much success. Interestingly, I recently found one advertised - for $12,000 !!.
Ye Gods, that's more than half the price of my Ute. Any comments? I'm not remotely interested at that price.

You could ditch the Maloo sailplane and fit an ordinary hard lid for about $2000, or less.

Yes, that one. Thanks for your suggestion, but the problem is I won't ditch the sailplane. I've been advised I could modify a standard lid. Other problems are finding one someone who would ship to Canada, plus the cost.
