VX compartment lid under radio wont lock shut

VX lid will not hold when shut any ideas.The compartment lid under the radio. Thanks alot

Need a new latch. Holdens or evilbay.

Swap it out for an ashtray lol

fold up a bit of paper and jam it in to keep it shut then never use it again

ya not closing it right

Press it closed and then will open and do it again but hold it there for 2 secs. If it doesnt close, do it again














Or go on ebay for a fix

Take the spring out of the door and turn it around so the spring pulls the door closed .

Sounds like the latch that holds it closed is broken, you can either try replacing it or you'll have to get a new compartment.

I think they're about $40-45 from memory?

I have been through 2 of those sodding things , its a little clip/spring that breaks off , they suck .
