Yeah bad.. Shes looking sweet now. get some photos up after the short shifter goes in Sunday... I also wanna start looking at getting 1.9.1 high rollers, some plenum spaces, CAI and the bigger throttle. but its SOOO much money... fml

Get the CAI first, that's what I did. Followed by the Plenum spacer. I want a Manifold spacer, but i like having the engine cover on.

Holy **** its been awhile since I have checked the forum out... Kind of lost all love for my car for awhile with life happening and such... was driving the other day and got defected for

- Too Low
- Handbrake more then 6 clicks (was about 8)
- Oil leak
- Battery not secure

Took it to the mechanic to sort out the defect and told him to just do everything.. $1680 bucks later i learned why you should NEVER let your car start to go lol..

Got the following goodies
- SL King springs (Sits at a nice height now no more leaving my car on a speed bump.)
- Camber kit (Picked the kit up for $30 on ebay thought it was a bargain.. Labor ended up being 4 hours worth.. fml)

Got the following fixes
- Handbrake cable replaced and adjusted to 2 clicks
- Front bushes replaced and Front wheel Alignment
- Major 200k service
- Oil leak's repaired (Power steering related)
- Some god ugly weld job done on the battery mount (Surely there is battery extender mounts for the vx wtf?)

Spending the money reminded me of the old days.. When you could basically eat off the car.. Thus, revamped my passion for the car..

So Project "Fix up the misses" is now in full force!
Pics will come up later today.. I'll probably add to the list by the time I get to work.. Good to be back on the forum =)

Things to get done
Mechanical
- Replace cracked extractors (Maybe with THESE ONES?
- New power steering rack?
- MACE CAI

Cosmetic
- Interior steam cleaned (Mechanic left greese every-f*cken-where!)
- Fix broken steering wheel control button (VZ)
- Replace door lights (half of them have had there plastic cover fall off
- Re-paint door trims (Do it properly this time)
- Paint vent outskirts silver (like HSV)
- Fix broken headlight switch and fit with LEDS
- Install red LED's to main power window switch again
- New Headlights (Current ones dont adjust and keep chewing threw globes.. Maybe replace withTHESE?
- Install the vz accelerator to match brake/clutch
- Replace gear boot (current one is snapped
- Replace gear knob (Current one does 360's)
- Install vz handbrake (red switched leather...<drools>)
- Repair all (If not most) scratches on paint work/door handles.
- Replace boot carpet (Velcro from sub has left it smoother then slicks)
- Tint on drivers window peeling
- Map pocket on passenger seat needs replacing
- Rear center console left vent broken

Annoy things to be fixed
- Tidy up engine bay (Remove the old cop siren I had, Replace broken covers, FIX THAT FRIGGEN BATTERY MOUNT)
- Power steering making creaking noises when on full lock and moving slowly.
- Do something about the disgusting clutch noise
- Drivers seat belt wont retract properly
- Door trim rattling (Don't think i clipped the locking mechanism in right when doing power windows)
- New boot struts
- New bonnet struts

Wow been a long time

Kangy still around and same with me etc and others.
Like yourself, a couple disappeared.

Is funny how ya let it go and such and now back into it.

I went though a maintenance stage where just maintained it, was fine, car ran fine so didnt need to do much.

Suck ya got defected and outlay to fix but at least sorted.
