Please help on some ideas as to why my car is misfiring!

It's not plugs, leads or the coil pack at all and I'm stuck for ideas. Cylinders 1 and 4 will just not fire

Well you've just about ruled out spark, I'm wondering about injectors, you can test their resistance levels easily enough with a multimeter and as far as my Gregory's manual says 11.8-12.8ohms is a good reading.

Having said that though I have an injector that is over 14 ohms resistance and car runs fine...

Gregory's manual also said try disconnecting the injector wiring while the engine is running for no more than 5 seconds to see if there is a difference.
